L’HIV non ha mai smesso di circolare. Anzi, proprio a causa della minor informazione negli ultimi anni la sua pericolosità è stata sottovalutata, soprattutto dai giovani. Lo dimostrano i dati delle nuove infezioni che ogni anno si registrano in Italia, che si mantengono elevate fra i 25 e i 29 anni.
HIV has never stopped spreading. In fact, just because of less information in recent years, its danger has been underestimated, especially by young people. This is demonstrated by the data of the new infections recorded every year in Italy, which remain high between the ages of 25 and 29.
Per puntare di nuovo i riflettori sull’HIV, in occasione della Giornata Mondiale per la lotta all’HIV/AIDS, che, come ogni anno, si celebra il 1° dicembre, Luchadora, artista del collettivo contro lo stigma “Conigli Bianchi”, in collaborazione con Gilead Sciences e 14 Associazioni non profit operanti nell’area della prevenzione e dell’assistenza dell’HIV, ha realizzato un’opera artistica con una creatività ispirata ai temi della collaborazione, della lotta allo stigma, alla ricerca scientifica e al concetto di U=U. Un’opera realizzata appositamente per la Giornata Mondiale, che sarà visibile il 1° dicembre in alcuni spazi d’impatto e in luoghi di grande passaggio nel centro di Milano.
Putting the HIV on the spotlight again, on the occasion of the World AIDS Day, celebrated on December 1st every year, Luchadora, artist of “White Rabbits” (a collective fighting the stigma towards the disease), in collaboration with Gilead Sciences and 14 non-profit associations operating in the area of HIV prevention and assistance, has created an artistic work with a creativity inspired by the themes of collaboration, the fight against stigma, scientific research and the concept of U=U. A work created specifically for the World Day, which was visible on 1 December in some spaces of impact and in places of great traffic in the center of Milan.
