Questo è un progetto di QUELLI DEL SABATO. Qualcosa di Super. E Poi? Contiene 18 Supereroi, 18 Superagazzi, 18 Superscrittori, anzi 19, 18 Superillustrazioni. E Poi? Gente bellissima che ha preso parte al progetto. E poi? Al suo interno trovate una diversa visione di quello che siamo soliti intendere per Supereroe. Perché, quelli veri, li si può incontrare tutti i giorni. Perché magari ci passano accanto, vivono nel nostro palazzo, frequentano la nostra scuola, hanno i nostri stessi sogni, vestono i nostri stessi abiti. Super possiamo diventarlo tutti, o esserlo stati o tornare ad esserlo.
This is a project by QUELLI DEL SABATO. Something super. And then? The book contains 18 Superheroes, 18 Superguys, 18 Superwriters, nay 19, 18 Superillustrations. And then? Beautiful people who took part in the project. And then? Inside you will find a different vision of what we usually mean by Superhero. Because, the real ones, you can meet them every day. Because maybe they are around us, live in our building, attend our school, have the same dreams as us, wear the same clothes as us.
Super è saper guardare oltre, non solo attraverso, è sapersi fare in quattro, è comparire quando serve, è rialzarsi dopo una caduta. E Poi? È avere coscienza che non si può essere Super senza essere Diversi. Noi ne siamo la prova. Ho preso in prestito le parole a Marco Bellora che sono riuscite a spiegare molto meglio di come avrei fatto io questo strepitoso progetto che ho avuto il piacere di illustrare.
We can all become super, or have been or go back to being. Super is knowing how to look beyond, not just through, it’s knowing how to bend over backwards, it’s appearing when needed, it’s getting up after a fall. And then? It’s being aware that you can’t be Super without being Different. We are proof of that. I borrowed words from Marco Bellora, who explains better than I would this amazing project that I had the pleasure to illustrate.
